About the Client


The Client is a leading supplier of pumps and pumping systems to the commercial and residential building services, industrial and OEM markets as well as municipal developments.







Position 1: Assistant / Sales Support Engineer


Duties & Responsibilities:


  • To prepare tendering and budgetary projects for Commercial Building Services Team.
  • To prepare simple calculations on design and built tender.
  • To collect tender drawings and specification from customers and understanding of tender drawings, specifications and system function.
  • To select appropriate pumps equipment for different system application.
  • To coordinate with sub-contractors on pricing on tender specifications and requirements.
  • To generate costing sheet.
  • To type / fax quotations with technical data to the customers.
  • To compile and submit catalogues during tender stage.
  • To follow up closely with clients on the price positioning and tender status.
  • To work closely with Business Development on specific projects.




  • Diploma in Engineering with at least 1 – 2 years of working experience. 
  • A proactive and resourceful individual with eagerness to learn new things.
  • Able to multi-task, adapt to changes quickly and interact with people of all levels.
  • A team player.

Position 2: Senior / Sales Engineer – Commercial Building Services


Job Responsibilities:


  • To achieve and meet established local sales goals annually.
  • To develop close working relationship and follow up with Key Accounts and customers.
  • To assist Senior Area Manager to guide new Sales Executive.
  • To follow up on project sales/negotiation and costing.
  • Responsible in debt collection target and follow up on overdue debts.
  • To update and share market situation and competitors activities.
  • To travel overseas for meetings and training when assigned.


Job Requirements:

  • Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related Engineering fields with at least 3 – 4 years of Commercial Building Services sales experience.
  • Proactive and resourceful individual who possess excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Able to adapt to changes quickly with multi-tasking capabilities.
  • Must possess own car with valid Class 3 driving license.

Position 3: Service Engineer


Job Responsibilities:


  • Assists Service Manager in daily service matters and overseas assignment when required.
  • Assists Service Manager in service training / exhibition, managing service staff and schedule / allocate of resources.
  • Assists in supervising and coaching the service technicians.
  • In house and site servicing repair of company’s products efficiently and effectively.
  • In house and site trouble-shooting of mechanical electronic and electrical system efficiently and effectively.
  • To review and update Technical Information to ensure information and knowledge sharing among the service colleagues.
  • To provide good service and advice, understand and help the customer define their needs.
  • To develop high technical competency on new and existing products or strategic products.
  • To liaise with local contractors and contribute to the establishment in service strategy and goals.
  • To analyze and inspect unusual service’s cases.
  • To meet monthly service sales targets. Constantly provide new idea and method to improve service figure and working methods for approval.
  • To report and update Customer Complaint System (CCS) and Failure Analysis System (FAS) promptly.
  • To provide support in the Electrical/Electronics and National Electronic Application Specialists’ (NEAs) competence area.
  • Must be competent and able to use test tools and methodology (includes a Power / Multimeter / Oscilloscope)


Job Requirements:


  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 1-2 years relevant experience in the pumps servicing or related industry.
  • Customer-oriented, independent with good planning and time management skills.
  • Able to work under pressure to meet tight schedules and perform overtime when required, including standby on 24/7
  • A good team player with flexibility and adaptability to work in different site environment
  • Must be prepared for some overseas travelling when required.
  • Must possess valid Class 2/3 driving licence and those with own motorbike will be an advantage.


Salary Range:            < S$2,800
