Position 1:    Field Support/ Application Engineers

(Etching system/test & metrology/Thermal processing system)

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for quality on site start up, installation, commissioning and maintenance of high-end automated semiconductor equipment at customers’ sites
  • Perform troubleshooting on semiconductor equipment
  • Carry out continuous enhancement program on machines to archive highest performance and reliability results
  • Conduct training for customers’ engineers and technicians

 

Requirements:

 

  • Degree/Diploma in electrical/electronic engineering or its equivalent
  • 2-3 years experience in wafer fab is preferred
  • Self starter who is able to work independently and desire to learn & grow with the company
  • Ability to conduct reliability test with strong analytical skills to address all potential problems
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to communicate in mandarin as there will be frequent liasing with customers from Taiwan and China
  • $ 2500 – $3800

Position 2: Enduser Support Engineer

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Evaluation and interpretation of customer requirements and specifications, seeking clarifications from sales or the customer where necessary to resolve unclear requirements.
  • Preparation of detailed and accurate technical and commercial proposal documents for spare parts, repair, upgrades, duplicate pumps and new pumps in accordance with customer requirements and time frame.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on technical and commercial clarifications arising from customers’ evaluation of the proposal submitted.
  • Be fully conversant with the Sales Approval Policy (SAP), inclusive of the local and worldwide SAP format available.
  • Responsible for completing and submitting SAP’s for approval.
  • Preparation of accurate and complete order write-ups to ensure clean order entry with the Business Units (Factories & Repair Centers), with thorough follow-through unit order acceptance. Documentation of accompanying order / order coordination instructions for follow-up.
  • Co-ordinate between customer and Business Units (Factories & Repair Centers). Participation in post-order meetings with relevant personnel to ensure concise understanding of customer requirements and timely project follow-through.
  • Responsible for updating Vision-Net (or any other selected system adopted) in line with the global policy.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in similar capacity.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to interact with all levels of employees in any part of the business.
  • Able to communicate requirements to peers, Sales, Customers and FPD worldwide Business Units.
  • A self starter and capable of working under minimal supervision.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
